Alexandre Abrão Martins
Founding Partner of Edge Investimentos, Alexandre is co-manager of the funds and Head of Research. He has a degree in Engineering from PUC-RJ, with post-graduate courses in Asset Allocation (Wharton-IPI) and Valuation (Stern NYU). Previously, Alexandre worked as a buyside analyst at Orbe Investimentos and at JardimBotânico Partners. He has been Portfolio Manager at Edge Investimentos since 2007, when he was authorized by the CVM to provide services in Securities Portfolio Management.
Bernardo Carvalho Ribeiro Dantas
Founding Partner of Edge Investimentos, Bernardo is co-manager of the funds and responsible for the Back-Office/Compliance and Investor Relations area. He has a degree in Management from IBMEC-RJ, with a post-graduate course in Finance and Portfolio Management (UC Berkeley). Previously, Bernardo worked for over seven years in mergers and acquisitions at Broadspan Capital as well as at Banco Fleming Graphus.
Eduardo Castro Alves
Partner of Edge Investimentos since 2010, Eduardo is responsible for the Investor Relations area in São Paulo. He has a degree in Management from Mackenzie University with a post-graduate course in Finance and Portfolio Management (UC Berkeley). Previously at Theca Corretora de Valores, Eduardo has over 15 years of experience in the financial markets.
Partner of Edge Investimentos since 2012, Gustavo is responsible for equity research. He has a degree in Engineering from PUC-RJ. He also attended the Program for Leadership Development at Harvard Business School. Previously, Gustavo was a partner of InvestidorProfissional (IP), having started at the company in 2001.
Responsible for Edge Investimentos’ back office, Volnei joined Edge Investimentos in 2013. He has a degree in Management from Instituto de Ensino Superior da Grande Florianópolis, with an MBA in Financial Management, Auditing and Controllership from FGV. Previously, Volnei worked at Banco Alfa de Investimentos.
Gustavo Katz Braga
Responsible for equity research, Gustavo joined Edge Investimentos in 2013. He has both a Master’s and a bachelor’s degree in Economics from UFRJ. Previously, Gustavo worked at the U.N. Headquarters in New York (in the Economic and Social Affairs department) and has over two years of experience in the financial markets.
